Process
My expectation is that we will work closely together from initial contact until your images are finalized.
I always begin by taking the time to get to know you, the jewelry you have in mind, and your goals for the project. I like to spend extra time up front asking questions about style and substance, hopes and desires, as well as your bottom line and timeline. I will share my ideas, the possibilities and limitations I see, and let you know what the project will cost. If the price doesn’t meet your expectations, we talk about what might shift to bring us into alignment. This stage lays the groundwork for a successful partnership.
Once I have the jewelry in hand, I will take a series of test shots to share with you, so we can work through essential details and agree on a vision for the final product. Once you give me the go-ahead, I will complete all of the images discussed, including basic clean-up retouching, and share them via a password-protected file sharing site created just for you. It is then your turn to review what I’ve created, and discuss any changes (further retouching, reshoots, etc.). This process continues until we are both satisfied. Once you have approved all of the shots we’ve agreed to, I will carefully repack and return the jewelry to you, and invoice you for the work.
